NC HIMSS | October 10 – 11, 2024

At the HIMSS North Carolina Chapter Annual Conference, our CEO and Co-Founder, Tiffany Chan, and Co-Founder and Chief Wellbeing Economist, Dr. Sisi Hu, presented an insightful session titled “The Future of Clinician Wellbeing and Retention: Making It a Standard Part of Operations Through Data and Predictive Insights.”  Using real-world examples, they illustrated how health systems can leverage existing data and machine learning to embed clinician support as an integral, proactive component of daily operations.

During the session, Tiffany and Dr. Hu stressed that while traditional survey methods provide valuable information, they often fall short of capturing the complete picture of clinician wellbeing. Instead, they highlighted the untapped potential of data from sources such as EHR and HRIS systems to deliver more comprehensive insights. By turning this data into actionable intelligence—such as turnover risk prediction—health systems can align with CDC recommendations and create sustainable, data-driven wellbeing initiatives. Attendees left their session with valuable insights and actionable takeaways, igniting excitement about the future of clinician support and healthcare innovation.
